Manufactured by Dörrenberg Edelstahl.
1.2358 (60CrMoV18-5) material is a cold work tool steel that offers high hardenability, the ability to be hardened all the way to its core, and toughness. In addition to these properties, 1.2358 (60CrMoV18-5) steel is preferred due to its high welding capability.
1.2358 (60CrMoV18-5) steel has excellent surface hardenability, making it more commonly used in sheet metal forming molds such as automotive body panel molds.
