Manufactured by Dörrenberg Edelstahl.
VNC5 steel is a high-quality cold work tool steel developed by our German partner Dörrenberg Edelstahl using specialized manufacturing methods. Designed with reference to 1.2746 (45NiCrMoV16-6), VNC5 possesses an excellent microstructure. The production process adheres to strict quality standards, ensuring that VNC5 material offers superior performance and durability.
The hardness value of VNC5 cold work tool steel is between 52 to 56 HRC.
VNC5 steel is used especially in shear blades for scrap metal and iron and steel industry, plastic injection molds, lathe tools, drill bits, cutting blades, milling cutters, and thread millings.
